User Roles

The two major user roles available in Intelliview NXT are Administrators and Dashboard-Authors. A user role defines the operational privileges of the user.

Administrator

• An Administrator can create and manage database connections, data models, users, groups and implicit filters

• The Administrator can assign permission for groups to access to dashboard reports

• The Administrator can create an another user as an administrator only from the SuperAdmin page (the page used to create and manage companies)

Dashboard-Author

• Author can create, edit, save and view reports

• Author can view, export and email the reports

• The Author can also allocate permissions to groups to view reports

The other report permissions in Intelliview NXT are:

Report Editor

Report Editor can do the following tasks:

• view and edit reports

• create and save widget and dashboard layouts

• apply, rename and delete dashboard layouts in dashboard view

Report Viewer

• Report Viewer can view and apply widget and dashboard layouts
