“Widget Layouts” are edited versions of the original widget. Once you have made the required changes to the widget, if you wish to do so, you may save the modified version of the widget to the existing layout. Or you may keep the original widget intact and save the modified version as a different widget layout.
As can be seen from image below, under ‘Save’, ‘Widget Layout’ is an option. Choosing this option will save changes to current widget layout.
If you wish to save the modified version of the widget to a new layout, choose the “As New Widget Layout” option under ‘Save’. Choosing this option will save changes to a new widget layout, you will be required to name the new layout.
List of saved widget layouts may be seen under the ‘Widget Layouts’ option.
